"Thiers wasn't very seriously trying to annex the Rhineland"

I did not find a source for this assertion. It would contradict the fact that the crisis was only solved after Thiers was dismissed and policy changed under his successor. Unless a substantial source is provided, I see no reason to base the article on the above claim. Wulfhelm (talk) 19:46, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
